Couple of weeks ago second life media was full of Cyber Extruder. As far as I understood, you send them a pile of photographs of your human face and body, and they make a shape for your body according to them. Then, they glue a skin made of your photos on that mash and… mirror, mirror on the monitor….

Corporations Sux in Second Life

For a month or so now we're hearing how big corporations that came to second life cannot get their way in it. Now the Forbes reports that

avatars enjoy having sex and playing pranks instead of getting warm fuzzy feelings about real life brands.

They are kidding, right? This cannot be. Someone's actually surprised and disappointed that people enjoy sex (even virtual) more than being targets of bad marketing campaigns? And, they are not ashamed to show their stupidity in public?

Avatar’s Mother Tongue

Forming of Second Life’s Society

It wouldn't be fair to say that the incriminated Daniel's post and Linden's behaviour in the periods of crises made nothing good. After all, they induced forming of second life's society. We all got used to jokes about king Philip and Lindens as royal family. Was it just a joke? Well no, it wasn't.

But now we see resident's forming groups, and more important, groups are uniting. For the sake of truth we cannot neglect the fact that this early political life is not without all the weaknesses of any early politics.
