Nice thing about second life is that there is a hell lot of simple things one doesn't know. Like that there are more than one way to walk. Or that is not such a nice thing but a bad learning? Never mind, here it comes, the advanced walking technique.
October Hush mentioned it in her post about using a game controller in second life. It is quite simple. Left-click on your avatar, keep button pressed, arrow up (arrow, not w) and steer with the mouse. Much more precise, much more elegant. Thank you Tober.
