Second life is too much of a dream-world. Let’s forget for the moment the fact that there are too many oh-so-great chicks, and that even more boys are tall and strong, let’s forget that we don’t need houses and don’t have to eat if we don’t want to, or that we can have in the dwellings of our dreams. One of the basic things that make second life the world in a dream is the weather.
Simply enough, it is always the same sunny day or clear night. And, you can even choose which of those two. But there is no gloomy days, there are no surprising showers, no clouds that change the light on the scene. Distant relatives of the Addams family found their way to make the rain and thunders but then, there is always raining over Addams’ house.
Wind is also a nice thing. There is wind in second life, but can we sometimes get something a bit stronger than gentle waving of prim hairs and flexy silks? Shall we one day witness the scene of a girl coming out of building, hearing thunder, trying to open the umbrella but wind is breaking it? Shall we wait for that perfect day to get out to the picnic in the woods? Shall we cut the boredom of the living in the post-cord?
