Cubism And Sex

behind the IM's 2 Comments

We started yesterday about problems of virtual sex. This one is not quite a problem, once you get over, learn to live with and maybe even enjoy it. It is usually referred to as "whose ass is where" situation.

You know those moments when one of the avatars involved take an initiative and leads the play for a while. Then, other one takes over. All the time, animations are running in loop but two of you got carried and gone far away from the initial position. How many times, due to unfinished sentences and omitted pronouns, while your partner is taking over the control, you find out that not only that you both are not in the positions as in poseballs but you two have completely different mental pictures of the current situation?

And the silent question goes: How the hell you got there? But, ok, you just turn over and are ready for more. This is the world of imagination, imagination can go wilder than communication in that moment is capable to transmit. And we all read between the sentences and occasionally add pieces we forget to transmit to the other side. And that is good. As long as nobody starts to panic because a belly is not right where expected, everything is alright. Just don’t insist on details. I mean, not on those details. Adopt to the situation and improvise.

Though, if you completely lose your grip, the two (or more) of you will find yourself in some kind of cubistic situation. Body parts all around, nobody knows what belongs to whom, and who is kissing who and where. Like on that Chambliss Giobbi‘s painting up there. (I hope he won’t mind presenting his artwork here.)

This is second life, after all, the world of freedom and imagination. Why insisting on imitations of the meatspace? Why not giving yourself a nice trip out of regular positions and restraints of anatomy? Try a bite of cubism.

If you like this story, share it with the rest of the world. Thanks.
