I was watching for days this meme spreading like a virus all over the second life blogosphere, and each time I was lucky to be missed. Until I saw Zippora's post in my feed reader. I simply knew there is my name at the end of it. I was near the end of How To Kill A Griefer, so I left it for tomorrow. Few hours later Amanda tagged me too, like she knew she will be on my list. OK, here we go….
Rules:
- Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
- People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
- At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
- Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
Random facts:
- My first days in second life were highly augmentative. Don't ask me how and why because I don't know. Simply, my human thought that is the way we should play. No matter that I (avatar, character and personality) was in flatworld existence for more than a year (that deserves its own episode). It took me about two weeks to take back what is naturally mine.
- I am an altcamming freak. One of those that sit near the entrance of the mall and do all the shopping from there. Not only that I prefer to sit in comfortable chair with a nice animation than to walk around in laggy shops, I also like to play spiderman. Grab a point on the wall, retract, turn around, grab another one, fly the invisible line of sight, repeat… To answer what is on your mind at this moment: I am not spying your indoor activities if I am not invited by at least one of the participants.
- My human and me share the same e-mail address. Another thing I cannot explain in full but we're probably both tired of jumping from one account to the other. We share g-talk account too. Which puts us in interesting situations that somebody is hiding beneath the table and biting my ankle while my human is trying to keep calm face and voice on a business meeting.
- I don't smoke. I had only three cigarettes in my life. I wish it was the same for my human.

- I am bisexual and polyamorous, meaning I can and feel quite ok to love more than one person at a time. My sex life alternates from celibacy to promiscuity. When Vint tried that math about number of second life partners, I remained silent. Not that I was shy to tell, I had no clue about the number.
- My circadian rhythm (time that my body feels like day and night and which should be 24 hours) varies. Consequence is that you can see me awake and live or sleeping deep as in the middle of the night at any time of the day or night. It is like my body and my mind are in different time-zones. Yes, that explains why I don't have regular hours on the grid nor I can tell if I will be somewhere next week. On the other hand, jet-lags doesn't affect me at all.
- I hate winter. If sim is covered with snow I will probably teleport away. If I don't, take it as a sign of deep love, respect and friendship.
- While I write blog posts I am usually logged in second life and sitting at some nice location. Yes, I am in desperate need of an in-world browser.
Eight people to do this:
I planned to delay posting this for tomorrow, but each hour we are closer to the point of saturation when I'll be left with nobody to tag, so……

*big smile* gosh, how did you know you’d be at the end of my post? :P
I don’t know. It just run through my mind: “dandellion dear, you’re not going to get away this time.”
WoooooT
I’m lucky enough to have not started an own blog by this time!!! :P
And…
Maybe we know each other for too much time!!! (not that i do not enjoy that…)
But I am pretty sure you too know something like 6 or 7 random facts about me… (btw that was my number reading yours, I knew 6 & a half ;)))
No, you are lucky that I was full of mercy this morning so I haven’t tagged your flickr account, leaving you to do eight photos about yourself. But, now when you mentioned, consider yourself unofficially tagged! :p
Awwwwwwwwww sh**!!! :P
Done. Now back to working to support my SL habit ^_^
Hm, I already did the 8 random things some time ago… Does that count? :”)
Sure. Thank you both. *going there for a bit of evening entertainment*
You hate winter? Noes!!! I love snow. I’m a bit of a snowboarder chick and love nothing better than carving through fresh pow… Mmmmm.
I miss snowboarding.
I like the snow, and It is still fun to throw a pair of balls or help making a snowman, but I’ve to admit that it is too cold for my liking. Also, I’ve only tasted once the white rug in front of a fireplace, and I can say that you get scorched in the front while your back freezes (unless you have somebody strategicaly placed to keep you warm :-p).
So winter gives me mixed feelings, but more or less I like it. Of course we only have a week or two of snow a year (and that if we are lucky), and even if it rains often, the proximity of the sea makes the climate temperate. Maybe I whouldn’t like it if it where colder.
Anyway, autumn is my favorite one. The oranges on the trees and sky, water swamping the streets while thousands of dropplets sing on the window… even the lazy wind* is fun.
*This comes from a Terry Pratchett’s quote, where the wind is to “lazy” to avoid people and simply tries to go through them :-p
Yes, hate winter and snow. Though, I do love snowboarding. But that is something completely different. That is couple of weeks when winter and me are living in peace and love. The rest, that is winter time in the city is hell that makes me depressive and fucked up.

Nice to meet you too, Dandelion.

Be advised that I’ve deleted your request fpr tagging, same as the last four comments of this nature in the past week. Knowledge is power, and one of my fellow brethren’s weaknesses has been about how openly they’re giving it away.
I don’t intend to make or agree to any future committments of this sort while I am in charge. There will be no further participation in this matter for the duration of this Term of Tribe.
