First two questions were easy. For the sake of transparency, and thanks to the fact that I rarely role-play nice mannered and shy girl, the answer is: yes. The last one is what made me starting a response couple of times.
I just cannot put any theory around this. It is that I am in the action and being in action wipes the theories behind. Who is in the action? Real life me or second life me? I am role-playing so those two can be very different persons. Nevertheless, both of us are in the action. Both of us are watching too (well, in the case of eye folds avatar is not watching, but you got my idea).
This just pulls out that old question why do we love cybersex? What is the primary drive to it? Avatars do not have needs of sexual kind, it is us humans that runs “into action”. And the whole “mechanics” of cyber-sex is to be investigated. But that is kind of vivisection that I am not gonna do upon myself.
Anyway, there are ways of “doing it”. Whether one is more in the action or in the watching it from aside depends on many things, from current mood to partner’s skills and attitude. Personally, I don’t quite get the point of just watching. Why don’t surf the porn like everybody else then? Metaverse is about communication, it is about meeting people, playing and exchanging ideas. And to do that one must jump into action, whether it be building, mingling in clubs, scripting or having sex.
