Every few days somebody approaches with that witty and intelligent line: “WOW, you look hot. Wanna go upstairs?” I know it is a common situation. What I don’t get is what is in the heads of those people?
Some of RL people are so hot that they can score with line like that. But that is real life. In real life some people look hot, pheromones are travelling through the air, voices can be really sexy, walk and posture counts a lot. In metaverse there are no pheromones. Voice is yet to come and I doubt it will have such an impact in first contact. Look, posture and walk are bought so the fact that one may look as seen on the cover of the magazine doesn’t mean much. In 95% of situations I or anybody else older than two months can look exactly the same. The 5% left are really creations of art. Getting the perfect combination of shape, skin, clothes, anims and everything to make a convincing character with a story is an art which includes much more than building, texturing and/or knowing the best places to shop.
So, what makes us going to the skybox with strangers. What, beside the urge to do some cybersex this night can be the turn on in world of prims and mashes?
