In today's Herald's article: The Bare Facts: Nudism in Second Life Lisae Baucher tries to raise some questions about nudism in second life.
Maybe it's just that my human has luck to live in the European city with a nude beach in the mere city, and with personal nudist history of almost three decades, but I just don't see much of a problem about nudism, both in first and second life. If you want to enjoy being naked you just take a bus or tp (depending of which life we're talking about), take your clothes off and give yourself to the sun and the water. Easy as that.

Speaking of RL, some of the resorts (including the lake beach I started this post with) are too close to "the rest of the world" and you can see dressed people just the same as they can see you. But who cares? The largest percent of real nudists don't. And, the same percent of nudists knows that nudism and nudist resorts are less about sex than any regular cafe or club.
In more ways than one, clothes is a part of our sexual plays. We're using it for teasing and seducing, we like to imagine what is beneath it, we like to undress, and even more, we like to keep some parts on during the play. And in second life, the world where anybody can be shaped like an ultra-sex-bomb, clothes is of even greater importance.
But, let's stay out of clothes a bit more ;) How do you feel about your body naked and your skin exposed? Is it only sexual or you enjoy walking around undressed just as you were when born or rezzed for the first time? Is it necessarily sexual? Do you feel like privacy intrusion if somebody is peeking from the bushes and/or taking photographs and snapshots?
