One of ways to get some change of blogging is to put your ass near camp master (camping chairs and dance pads were never an option for me) and stay there while typing in other window. So I headed to the place that pays 3$ for 15min, small furniture shop, simple but nice built with no crowd. Couple of days ago, I had nice conversation with tigress about weather and government. As soon as I got out of teleport and my dreadlocks got back to their place, gray prims still loading textures… Hey! Something is wrong here!
And it really was. Ok, camp master was moved, as many other things around. Place still has its old name but it is furniture shop no more. It is a casino. Oh, how innovative! It is fine, I can camp in a casino. If people are nice, we will not notice bad interior design which is a must for 99% of second life's gambling places. But, why on grid would anybody remove those nice armchairs? Where I am suppose to sit now? Or the owner thinks that couple of people standing around with their heads fallen is nice and appealing sight which will attract other residents to spend some lindens there? Finally, I found my seat on the top of the Flintstones machine.

But, one surprise is never enough. I tried to login but the damn thing said I need to be the proud member of the group. Now, that is a bit too much. I already said what I had to about group membership blackmails so I'll save my keyboard this time. As usual, all the members of this group are VIP's.

So, the question remains: why most of the second life's entrepreneurs are so lame when it comes to aesthetics, public relations and the whole thing about the feel and experience of the interactive web? Whether one runs a casino or shop or whatever, isn't it a good and affordable idea to make your interior nice and comfortable? Is it necessary to force your campers to join the group every time just to leave it as soon as they reach their daily limit of lindens?
