It is pure pleasure to watch how good projects develops. If you spent all your second life hiding in a slum and missed AjaxLife, it is a system developed by Katharine Berry from Teen Grid which enables you to log in to second life via your browser. I really don't understand why anybody is using Internet Explorer, especially if one is aware that there are things on the internet more advanced than text with couple of images on an unformatted  page like in the last decade of the past century. But, it is not all about usability and comfort. Something is in the security too. Read more »

They say it is one more of the asset-inventory-tekkie things. One of the second life's bugs. No it isn't. It's a disease. A nasty one. Everything goes fine, and then, a second or two after you exit the teleport, your skin turns black. Completely doomed black. Maybe just ass and legs, maybe just torso, or a face. Or everything. Disease, I tell you.

It happened yesterday, and it happened so many times before. Teleports are not working and the best one can do is to sit at own home location, or at the place of the last log off and to do IMing with a friend. Nice, but I can use ICQ and a screenshot for that. Yesterday, I stumbled across Lisa Rein's little trick and only thing that came to my mind was: "Am I really that stupid?!" Read more »
