Humans get their names when they are babies. Names are given by parents and we hardly can be responsible for what we are called for the rest of our lives. One would think that avatars are in somewhat better position. Avatar gets its name from its human, so it's to be expected that there is some thinking about it and that there should be some sense and aesthetics in it. But, is that always the case? (more…)

One can never have enough fun from Lindens. As you probably know, fifth birthday of our wonderful world is coming up. As the tradition is, there will be a celebration, organized by volunteers showing what this world is about. And this year the theme is 'Celebrating the cultural diversity of Second Life‘. I couldn't think of better thing to celebrate. Creativity and diversity are the most valuable things this world has to offer. But hey, nobody said this world is perfect. (more…)

I just wanted to have a cup of coffee on a grid, to sort out my thoughts and catch a glimpse of nice WindLight reflections on the ocean. A nice way to start a day. So I clicked the green hand on the top bar, hard disk started making subtle noise and I was almost there. Almost!
