I thought I've finished with all the censorship, restrictions and nipples. Honestly, I am sick of thinking and writing about it all. But, I have to do this one. Do you remember last Burning Man celebration with accompanying "nipplegate"? Yes, it was back then, when artist was "asked" to remove nipples from a marble statue of woman because that level of detail violates the PG nature of the sim event was held on. But we know there is no end to surprises when nipples are around Linden family.

First it was no kids, Gorreans and BDSM allowed at all. Then it was: oh, yes, they can come but we won't exhibit their work. Now, everything is ok. Everybody is welcome and everybody can exhibit. Just like nothing ever happened. It was just a bad dream, baby.

One can never have enough fun from Lindens. As you probably know, fifth birthday of our wonderful world is coming up. As the tradition is, there will be a celebration, organized by volunteers showing what this world is about. And this year the theme is 'Celebrating the cultural diversity of Second Life‘. I couldn't think of better thing to celebrate. Creativity and diversity are the most valuable things this world has to offer. But hey, nobody said this world is perfect. (more…)
