trademarks and lawspeak

To put boring things short:

This site is my private blog. It is in no way connected to Linden Lab™. But they are worried that someone can conclude differently and insist that we put a piece of lawspeak and all those™ and  ® characters to prevent that. I don't have a clue about how that should sound, and I am not willing to learn so I'll just copy/paste some at the end of this page. Before that, something that somebody might actually read and understand…..

As I said, this is my personal blog. It deals (as you probably noticed) with virtual worlds, one of them being Second Life®. However, SL® is not the only virtual world around and, as it happens sometimes, words "second life" extended over the mere product of Linden Lab™ and became a generic term. To see the difference and when capitalized letters and ™ and ® signs are used, check It's My Life, No Matter The Number In Front Of It.
